With ten new workshops in artistic areas such as music, visual arts, audiovisual, among others, Balmaceda Arte Joven (BAJ) prepares the new cycle of “Connect BAJ”, a free online training instance, which, until Friday, January 15, opens its call to young people from all over the country.
In this new season the workshops have an intensive modality, running in a limited number of sessions through the Zoom platform, with content focused on those who are starting or want to delve into the respective disciplines. All experiences are free and have limited quotas.
In this cycle stand out: the workshop “Integrated Body, Integrative Dance” by the choreographer Ximena Peña Lagos, the workshop “Introduction to the Digital Comic” by the illustrator Yayo, the workshop “La Alquimia de la Luz” by photographer Carlos Gutiérrez and the “Taller para Músicos Emergentes”, by the vocalist and founder of the band Sinergia, Rodrigo “Don Rorro” Osorio.
Those interested in applying must reside in national territory, have the age corresponding to that requested in each workshop, and complete the form that is available in www.baj.cl.
More than 80 online workshops that have benefited more than 1000 young people have already been implemented since May 2020, through the “Connect BAJ” initiative. This new cycle involves the participation of artists in the Metropolitan, Biobío and Los Lagos regions.
This project is part of balmaceda Arte Joven’s initiatives, which seek to offer an alternative to young people through art and culture, for the duration of the health emergency and the development of face-to-face activities is achieved.
