About the application of COVID vaccines, Undersecretary Hugo López-Gatell reports that a total of 95 thousand 095 doses have been applied until 4 p.m. on Thursday.
Federal authorities report that 468 people who have been vaccinated had non-serious reactions, and in 15 cases were severe. In all cases, patients are being studied to determine the diagnosis of each case.
For people who had an allergic reaction to the Pfizer vaccine, López-Gatell notes that with the first dose they have 80% protection, so they should not receive the second application.
“Given the balance and benefit of the second dose relative to the risk of a new, highly likely allergic reaction, it weighs the risk more than the benefit and should not receive the rest of the scheme.”
