The missing persons are: Julio Alberto Villaseñor Cabrera, Jimena Romo Jiménez, who are husbands, and their daughter Julia Isabel Villaseñor Romo, year and a half old. As well as Julio’s sister, Virginia Villaseñor Cabrera, and his son, Iker Fabricio Escoto Villaseñor, 9.

The Jalisco Attorney General’s Office reported that the family’s last location was registered in the Los Altos region, so an operation was implemented in Tepatitlán and Jalostotitlán.
After conducting the first investigations it was determined that the disappearance occurred in the municipality of Acatic.
A few days ago, state prosecutor’s office personnel found evidence of the possible involvement of municipal police officers in enforced disappearance.
In total there are eight policemen who would have been involved in the crime, but at the moment seven arrest warrants have been completed.
Between municipal, state and army elements, 200 troops continue to work in the family’s location.
According to the Under-Secretary for Human Rights, Jalisco is the entity with the most disappearances between December 2018 and December 2020 with 3 thousand 724 reported cases, representing 22.6% of the national total.
The second place is occupied by Tamaulipas, with a thousand 287 cases (7.8%), followed by Guanajuato, with a thousand 252 cases (7.6%).
