Morelia, Michoacán.- A group of Colombians based in Michoacán, demonstrated in the city of Morelia to protest the situation that is taking place in their country, where clashes between policemen and citizens report around 19 people who died 1,220 injured, 9 cases of sexual violence and 18 victims of attacks on the eyes, according to what has happened in international press.
About twenty people from the South American country placed banners on the public benches of the Fray Antonio de San Miguel road next to the city’s Aqueduct.
They also gave loudspeaker speeches to fail to act with the authorities in their country.
In more banners you could read messages like “SOS Colombia”, “If violence is not a way to demand justice, why is it to restore order?” among others.
The South American country is going through a week of protests because the national government proposed a tax hike to try to alleviate the financial problem generated by the pandemic, which was not to the public’s liking that because of the health situation it is also impossible for them to cover such expenses.
