Chinicuila, Michoacán.- A group of strangers intercepted two cargo trucks and burned them to block a road in the town of El Salitre de Copala, municipality of Chinicuila
This road is the one that unites Villa Victoria, the municipal head of Chinicuila, with the neighboring state of Colima.
The situation led to the National Guard of the Chinicuila base of operations and the Michoacán Police coming to the site.

Authorities no longer found suspects at the scene so they immediately removed the units to restore the road.
In its official Twitter account, the Ministry of Public Security noted: “In order to restore free transit, the #PolicíaMichoacán in conjunction with the
@GN_MEXICO_, they carry out an operational action to remove vehicles that obstruct a road section located in the vicinity of the town El Salitre de Copala, municipality of Chinicuila”.
A security operation was also generated to strengthen preventive tasks and prevent the commission of illegal activities.
