Mexico.- In research carried out by the La Silla Rota medium, they reported that the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) decided to acquire 41 thousand cotton towels, through its subsidiaries Transmission and Distribution, for more than 7 million pesos.
In the media investigation it can be read that according to parastatal contracts, the award processes began since the last months of 2020 and concluded in the first quarter of this year.

The Commission’s provision of 41,988 towels for 78 distribution areas had a final cost of 7 million 259 thousand 251 pesos, or 172.88 pesos.
The Commission made special requirements for suppliers for the delivery of towels: luxury finishes, 100% cotton material, weighing between 700 and 800 grams in weight, and feeling soft to the touch.
At least 7,000 towels were ordered with the CFE embroidered logo, with 500-millimeter Jacquard fabric, with a larger shaft located in the upper left corner, 75 millimetres from the side edge and 75 from the top edge.
For one million 338 thousand 176 pesos, the CFE bought 10 thousand 300 towels, 1.20 meters long and 0.60 wide, white, with 10% cotton material; to send them to 10 areas located in the north of the country.
