William Shakespeare, the first man and the second person to receive the COVID-19 vaccine worldwide, died tuesday. Authorities reportedly died after an ACV and, after the news broke, Coventry city jail and Shakespeare’s friend Jayne Innes said that “bill’s best tribute is to get vaccinated.”
We’re sorry to hear of the death of Coventry Labour stalwart Bill Shakespeare. Bill made global headlines as 1st first man to have Covid vaccine. His decades of service to the party were recently recognised by @Keir_Starmer. Our thoughts are with Joy and Bill’s family & friends. pic.twitter.com/ANCTeGFYEs — West Midlands Labour (@WMLabour)

At the time of vaccination, Shakespeare was at Coventry University Hospital and, after her, the man called it a “wonderful” moment. It should be noted that she had been given the Pfizer vaccine shortly after Margaret Keenan, 91, the first person to be vaccinated. From the West Midlands Labour Twitter account, they recalled it this way: “Bill made headlines around the world for being (the first) man to have the COVID-19 vaccine (…). Our thoughts are with Joy and Bill’s family and friends.”
