Mexico. – HBO Max, WarnerMedia’s new streaming platform, will be available in Latin America on June 29 at a lower price than in the United States, but with some differences from the original service.
In the United States, HBO Max costs $15 a month, and will shortly release a new ad-supported rate for $10 a month that will not include immediate access to the films Warner Bros plans to release simultaneously in theater.
In Latin America and the Caribbean, however, the service will be available starting at $3 per month, a very attractive price for a catalog that includes such popular series as Friends, Game of Thrones, Gossip Girl, Sex in New York and The Big Bang Theory, as well as the DC movies, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, and Cartoon Network cartoons.

Warner announced that the Champions League will air exclusively on HBO Max for users in Mexico and Brazil. The service does not yet broadcast major sporting events in the United States, so it is a surprise that it acquired the rights to the most prestigious European football tournament, even if at the moment only in these two countries.
