translated from Spanish: Increases to 20% msmes in colonies of Guamúchil

Guamúchil, Sinaloa.- Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises are on the rise in the most popular residential sectors of Guamúchil and in the busiest avenues. The increase this year is estimated to be 20 percent despite the impact of the pandemic and the lack of support to boost the business sector.   The president of the National Chamber of Commerce of Évora, Carlos Orduño, described that the uptick is seen more in the turn of food and restaurants. The increase is explained by two things: the city is diversifying and young people are undertaking.

“There is a phenomenon that is occurring because young people no longer want to be employed, but want to be the ones who are in charge of a business and the citizenry is diversifying, because it is no longer necessary to go to the Center to buy food or to have a job,” explained the business leader.

The growth is noticeable in the most popular colonies, such as the set of subdivisions of the southern exit, composed of Prado Bonito, Praderas, Valle Bonito and the entire surrounding residential sector, as well as in the colonies La Gloria and Las Garzas.  The busiest avenues where more new businesses are detected are Matamoros, Lázaro Cárdenas, Magisterio, Évora and Morelos Boulevard. Faced with this increase, The Kanak is working on an affiliation strategy, to invite new entrepreneurs to be formal. Being formal has many benefits, and we will be visiting them to join the Chamber and no longer just waiting for them to come, “concluded Carlos Orduño.
