They were initially told that they would be relocated to other hospitals, but this did not happen with all staff. At least 30 health workers were notified that they would no longer have jobs.

Animal Politico published on Wednesday the case of Juan Daniel Cázares Hernández who received, on November 20, the Miguel Hidalgo decoration, in cross grade, “for his eminent merits and outstandingly exemplary conduct in the care of the health emergency due to COVID-19,” according to the recognition.
Despite this, Juan was fired via a WhatsApp message on April 29.
He says he and other of his teammates were the first to be fired. They were told they were on the waiting list to be relocated. Prior to the closure of the Citibanamex Unit, they began to relocate the remaining doctors, but those dismissed first no longer.
The health authorities received a delegation to receive their list of demands.
