Morelia, Michoacán.- Under the slogan of encouraging citizen participation within the public life of the municipality, during its administration, the Government of Morelia through the Secretariat of Welfare and Social Policy, promoted the creation of Community Transformation Councils throughout the michoacan capital.
With the support of the Directorate of Neighborhood Improvement and Citizen Management, the Councils of Community Transformation reached colonies, communities and tenures of the municipality, creating a work plan according to the needs of the population, attending to areas of priority attention in order to provide well-being for citizens, whose results were shared in the Meetings of Councils , providing opportunity to the neighborhood community to know the development plans for their environment.
In this way the Days of Community Transformation, with an investment of 4 million 450 thousand pesos, 488 actions were launched, among which the recovery of public spaces, improvement of rural roads, rehabilitation of streets and the equipment of community areas for the healthy coexistence among the inhabitants stand out.
With these actions the Government of Morelia worked hard to give attention to areas forgotten by previous administrations, reiterating its concern to dignify the quality of life in the rural and urban area of our municipality and thus transform the municipality.
