Nicolás Kreplak took office on Wednesday as Minister of Health of the Province of Buenos Aires and replaced Daniel Gollán. The now former official will devote himself fully to the electoral campaign ahead of the PASO in September, where he will be a pre-candidate for national deputy for the Front of All.The new minister thanked governor Axel Kicillof for his confidence and highlighted the now former minister Gollán. “I have to replace a friend and referent, one of the noblest people I know. A PhD in strength and spirit. A wise and generous teacher, who will have a prominent role in Congress in pursuit of a more just homeland. Thank you Daniel Gollán,” he said. The event was attended by the governor and deputy governor, Veronica Magario, and officials of the national and provincial cabinet. Among them were the Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti; former Minister Gollán; and the chief of cabinet of the province, Carlos Bianco. In turn, Kicillof spoke about the “structural problems” that the province has in the field of health and emphasized the last four years – in reference to the government of María Eugenia Vidal – in which health management “regressed.” This is very reprehensible and appalling. We have come from four years of frank decline, deterioration and abandonment,” the provincial president said.
