In the last week, the growth of hospital occupancy in Mexico City has slowed from 95 daily admissions due to COVID to 19 people.
This means that hospitalizations were reduced by 49%, said Eduardo Clark, director of Digital Government at the ADIP.
He added that from Friday, August 6 to this day there are 133 more hospitalized, which means that the occupation has remained stable in the last 7 days.

As for positivity, he noted that it is 17.5% with a slight downward trend. The positive cases detected with the tests carried out by the government, are also going down, from 3 thousand daily positives detected, in the last week there have been 2,700 cases.
He said that on July 27, the peak of active cases was reached, which was 57,828, and as of the date it has gone down.

Health Secretary Oliva Lopez said there are 17 minors hospitalized for COVID so far, though all have a favorable prognosis.
88% of adults already have first dose
Clark Garcia said that so far 86% of adults in the city already have a first dose of the VACCINE against COVID-19, and 46% already have a complete schedule.

And 44% coverage in the 18-29 age group.
