He added that, if there are irregularities, it should be the Prosecutor’s Office and the competent authority that resolve it, but that it must be recorded that complaints were filed.

“It should be noted that at the time they filed complaints because otherwise it is the same, those who are ending up possibly received irregularities, there were embezzlements, they did not say anything, they assumed it and part of the current crisis is what has been dragging on for some time.
“Yes, it is necessary that the appraisals, the courts, the evaluations be made, if I consider it, but it is a recommendation because we do not have authority, the municipalities, the states, they are free, they are sovereign, they have autonomy, for those are the local Congresses, the superior courts of justice,” he said.

López Obrador said that the federal administration does not owe anything to the state governments because “punctually” it gives them their federal shares and that, on the contrary, they help them by anticipating some with programs.
