The Bocas Abiertas gastronomic festival is back, with more than 100 dishes to try

After a year where the coronavirus (COVID-19) put everything on pause, little by little, with the complicity of spring and flexibilizations, gourmet fairs are reactivated. Last weekend, the festivals returned to the City by the hand of Carne!, a barbecue event that was held in Palermo and brought together barbecue lovers. Now, in the calendar of gastronomic festivals appears Bocas Abiertas, the renowned gourmet festival of San Isidro, which will be held from Thursday 28 to Sunday 31 October at the Municipal Exhibition Center of San Isidro. The fair will be outdoors and will have all the corresponding sanitary protocols.

Throughout the festival, San Isidro restaurants, local and surrounding chefs will offer more than 100 savory and sweet dishes to enjoy at no more than $500. In addition, there will be a producers’ market, talks and classes given by renowned chefs and, as every year, the classic Chimi Cup and Alfajor Contest will be held, which will choose the best chimichurri and the best alfajor, respectively. The gastronomic proposal will also be accompanied by musical shows (for example, this Thursday plays the Bahiano) and there will be sectors specially prepared for children.
