Inmate escapes walking from prison in San Pedro Cholula, Puebla

San Pedro Cholula.- An unusual escape from prison took place yesterday, Tuesday, October 26, when Luis Gerardo N walked out of the Social Reintegration Center of San Pedro Cholula, Puebla.The now fugitive from justice left prison for an alleged error, received a release ticket corresponding to another inmate, left through the front door and then escaped. His lack in the penitentiary facilities was detected during the morning of this Wednesday when guards passed the list. At that moment they realized that the man who had scheduled departure was still imprisoned. The municipal authorities announced that two officers are part of an investigation by the Attorney General’s Office for their probable collaboration in the delivery of the ballot.
