Venados takes the lead over Cañeros with victory in the tenth: 10-7

The Deer of Mazatlan took the lead in the series against Cañeros de Los Mochis by winning last night 10-7 in extra innings the first game of the series that takes place in the Emilio Ibarra Almada stadium, putting together a rallie of three great runs in the tenth inning. The porteños arrived at the beginning of the 10th inning with a 7-7 tie on the board and the important bat was connected by Leo Germán who produced one and the other two of the rally entered by wildpitch from the defeated Juan Gámez.  It was the visitors who took the lead on the scoreboard in the first inning, when Isaac Paredes brought Randy Romero to the register with a strong line drive to right field. Randy Romero hit his first home run of the campaign and the party was capped off by Carlos Muñoz with a four-run homer in right field, taking Isaac Paredes and Ricky Alvarez ahead.The home side came close with a run in the bottom of the eighth, when Francisco Cordoba connects a timely unstoppable producer to left field, the one that Esteban “Pony” Quiroz takes advantage of to hang to the register from the third cushion. It was the same Quiroz who connected on the go-7 hit to Cañeros in the bottom of the ninth, scoring Josuan Hernandez.  For Cañeros, Leuris Gómez opened with five and two-thirds innings of work in which he allowed three runs, connected on nine hits, gave up three bases on balls and struck out six. He was followed by Darel Torres, Fredy Quintero, Marcos Machado, Manuel Báez and the defeated Juan Gámez.Por Venados started Marco Tovar with five innings of work in which he allowed one run, with five hits, one base and one strikeout.
