Last Tuesday, the Ministry of Public Innovation announced that all those who have the Mi Argentina app will be able to download the international vaccination credential against COVID-19 in PDF format to be able to have the document visible even when they do not have an Internet connection. In that sense, it was indicated that, to do so, the user must go to the My Health section and, in the COVID-19 option, click on “See more” and open the vaccination certificate tab. There will appear a QR code and, just below, the option to download it.
And, according to the Secretariat, “each dose, including the booster dose, has a QR code with the information of the vaccine” registered in the Federal Register of Nominalized Vaccination (Nomivac), that is, name of the vaccine, lot, dose and place of application. From the agency they recalled that the “digital credential is the official document of Argentina to accredit vaccination against COVID-19 in the country and abroad”, and that foreigners vaccinated in the country who do not have an Argentine ID and adults with minors in charge, may request the PDF with information on their vaccination against COVID-19 in the health effectors defined by each jurisdiction. Finally, they added that the Ministry of Public Innovation “is working so that people responsible for children can see from their profile the digital credential of the minors in their care who have been vaccinated.”
