Copa Argentina: Darío Herrera will be the referee of the final between Boca and Talleres

Five days before the last final of the year in Argentine football, the shortlist that will be in charge of it was announced and will have as protagonist Darío Herrera directing the duel between Boca and Talleres for the Argentine Cup.The referee received a strong endorsement from Federico Beligoy, National Director of Arbitration in Argentina, after what was the confusing situation with Lautaro Acosta, after the fall of Lanús to Racing, where the referee filed a formal complaint for the threats of the striker.

In the midst of that situation, Herrera received the most important match of the 24th date of the Professional League, which has to do with the crossing between Gimnasia and Estudiantes de La Plata, in the classic of the city that has special condiments for the classification to the international cups. On the Argentine Cup, the referee will be present next Wednesday, December 8 in Santiago del Estero (Estadio Madre de Ciudades) for the crossing between Boca and Talleres, which will define a new title and a pass to the next Copa Liberadores 2021, where both protagonists are close to achieving it for the local tournament. For this defining duel, Herrera will be seconded by Juan Pablo Belatti and Pablo González as assistants, while the fourth and fifth referees will be Andrés Merlos and Facundo Rodríguez.
