Villa Lugano: A 17-year-old boy was shot dead

A 17-year-old teenager died this morning when he was shot in the chest while attending a party in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Lugano, police sources said. Police officers went after a 911 call where they warned of a fight in the area between the collector and the Dellepiane highway, at the height of the aforementioned Buenos Aires neighborhood, south of the city. It all started when a group of people were gathered in the place in the framework of a party and an argument was generated. At that moment, a group of young people withdrew from the place, but at least one of them returned and shot at those present. As a result of the shooting, a 17-year-old teenager, identified as Brandon Ruiz Díaz, was wounded, the sources said. He was quickly taken to Santojanni Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest, where he arrived dead. The investigation is in charge of the Correctional Criminal Prosecutor’s Office 16, whose head is Mónica Cuñarro.During the afternoon, relatives and friends of the victim cut off General Paz and Dellepiane Avenue to ask for justice for Brandon and the arrest of the suspects, who have already been identified, the sources said.
