A particular situation was made known through social networks by citizens of Chile. A strange row of lights was perceived in the sky during the night of yesterday. Many surprised by the scene maintained that they were UFOs, however that was ruled out and it was known what it really was.
These unusual lights were a line of satellites belonging to the Starlink project, which aims to facilitate internet access to everyone, even in the most remote places.

Just last night, Elon Musk’s company, Space X, launched into orbit Falcón 9, a package of 49 microsatellites that aims to expand the internet connection around the planet.
Francisca Contreras, an astronomer at the University of Chile, told TVN that “on the night of January 6 it was possible to see a train of lights crossing the sky from the west to the east, surprising hundreds of people.”
He added that “this corresponds to a train of satellites putting themselves into orbit (…) Elon Musk’s project, Starlink, which seeks to network 12,000 satellites and up to 42,000 in order to deliver satellite internet to the whole world”
