more than 60 thousand cases of COVID

This Wednesday the country reached a new record of COVID-19 infections, registering 60,552 cases in 24 hours, a figure that exceeds by more than 11 thousand cases the highest figure, registered a day earlier.
According to the technical report of Health, since the beginning of the pandemic, 4 million 495 thousand 310 cases have been reported;  among them, 325,234 are active, for presenting symptoms in recent days.
The Secretary of Health reported that the trend of cases increased by 152% in the first week of 2022, compared to the previous one.

On the last day, there was 323 more deaths, for a total of 302,112 registered since the arrival of SARS-CoV-2 in the country.
As for vaccination, 726 thousand 643 vaccines were applied, for a total of 157 million 145 thousand 915 biological.

The doses correspond to 83 million 002 thousand 950 vaccinated people, 92% of them with a complete vaccination schedule.
