Argentines and residents with a complete scheme must not present PCR when entering the country

The national government announced on Wednesday in the Official Gazette that it will relax the requirements for people entering the country. The measure that will take effect from January 29 exempts Argentines and residents who have the complete vaccination scheme against the coronavirus from the presentation of a negative PCR to enter the country. It is worth noting that Argentines and residents must have completed the vaccination schedule at least 14 days before entering the country and that Argentines who have resided abroad for at least the last year, will be understood as a complete vaccination scheme as defined by the health authorities of the country of residence. In addition, from next Saturday, people vaccinated with a full schedule will be exempt from quarantine. Those who have an incomplete vaccination schedule or are not vaccinated must have a negative PCR test performed in the country of origin within 72 hours prior to the start of the trip or an antigen test performed in the country of origin within 48 hours prior to the start of the trip. The administrative decision bears the signature of the Chief of Cabinet, Juan Manzur, and the Ministers of the Interior, Eduardo De Pedro, and of Social Development, Juan Zabaleta.
