AMLO warns of infiltrators in the movement of Ayotzinapa normalistas

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador did not rule out that there are infiltrators in the movement of the Ayotzinapa normalistas, after this Friday they will launch a trailer without brakes and without a driver against elements of the National Guard, during a demonstration on the Autopista del Sol, in Guerrero.
Therefore, he called on the normalistas to no longer act in that way, which he described as “very serious”; he stated that he gave the instruction for them to receive them and to dialogue.
“I want to call on the boys of Ayotzinapa not to act in this way because they affect and put the lives of other people at risk. The revolutionary has to take care of the people, fighting for ideals is not for destruction.

“We have information that there are people dedicated to illicit activities infiltrated in this movement, maybe they do not even know it and that is why I am raising it,” he said.

The president asked the normalistas to change their attitude, not to play into the hands of the “right and conservatism,” nor to allow themselves to be manipulated by organized or white-collar crime. He called on them not to act violently or as conservatives.

“You don’t have to touch the extremes, no extremism, neither left nor right. You can fight for principles without violence,” he told a news conference.
On Friday, students from the Ayotzinapa Rural Normal School clashed with elements of the National Guard, when they tried to block the toll booth of Palo Blanco, in the municipality of Chilpancingo.
After these events, the mayor of Acapulco, Abelina López, said that the normalistas cannot be investigated, because “in strictly legal terms, the trailer was circulating in the middle, without a driver. That is why there is no one to accuse, because there is no evidence of who caused this,” according to reports from the newspaper Reforma.
On the statements of the mayor, President López Obrador said that she does not want to act as before, as in the government of former President Felipe Calderón, where “everything was a club and it was the kill them hot.”
He pointed out that the investigation is being done on who released the trailer because it is not only a legal matter, but also a social and political one.
