Onemi reports 34 active wildfires nationwide

The National Emergency Office (Onemi), according to the technical information provided by the National Forestry Corporation (CONAF), reported a total of 110 forest fires registered nationwide, of which 34 are active, 69 controlled and 7 were extinguished.
Thus, he explained that in the region of Ñuble the fire called “Rincomávida” is active, which affects about 400 hectares, in the communes of Portezuelo and San Nicolás.
In addition, in the same region, the forest fire called “Santa Cruz de Cuca” remains active, which consumes 15 ha., in the commune of Chillán, where there are 3 affected homes.
Meanwhile, in the Biobío region, there is an alert for the forest fire called “Los Cuartos – Los Cristales”, which consumes an approximate area of 115 ha., in the commune of Los Angeles. It was also reported that there is a helicopter hooded and one person injured.
On the other hand, in La Araucanía the fire called “Villa Amargo”, which consumes 155 hectares, in the commune of Collipulli, is still active.
The fire “Ñielol (P) 3” is also active, with 2,161 ha. consumed, in the commune of Galvarino.
Further south, in the Magallanes region, the fire called “Forestal Russfin” is reported active, with an affected area of 1,357 ha., in the commune of Timaukel, where four brigadistas have also been reported injured.
