Health confirms 643 more deaths from COVID and more than 21 thousand cases

The Ministry of Health confirmed the death of 643 more people from COVID-19, so there are at least 313 thousand officially recognized deaths.
According to the agency’s daily technical report, 21,207 recent cases were detected on Tuesday, for a cumulative 5,321,744 infections since the beginning of the epidemic in Mexico.
However, health authorities estimate that 85,755 (1.5%) are active cases for presenting symptoms in recent days.

They also noted that the trend of cases decreased by 47%, between weeks 3 and 4 of the year.
On the progress of vaccination, the agency registers 173 million 37 thousand 874 doses applied, which correspond to 84 million 765 thousand 334 immunized people, 90% of the adult population in Mexico.
