Man Arrested Accused of Abusing Woman in Tigre

According to police sources, a 40-year-old man was arrested this morning in the town of Troncos del Talar, Buenos Aires party of Tigre, accused of sexually abusing a young woman of Brazilian nationality. The incident occurred this Saturday, in a house located on Bragado Street at 100. After receiving a 911 call, the police went to the place where they interviewed a 26-year-old woman, who said that, after consuming alcoholic beverages in the corner of her house with a group of neighbors, she retired to her home accompanied by one of her friends. The young woman said that, when she arrived at the home, she asked her friend to leave the door ajar when he left. Later, she said she fell asleep and when she woke up, she observed that a man was on her body and abusing her with carnal access, and then she fell back asleep.

After making the complaint, the woman was transferred to the General Pacheco Hospital, where she received medical attention and the corresponding studies were carried out. According to the spokesmen of the case, the members of the Patrol Command of the jurisdiction identified the author of the act, a man known in the area as “Willy”, who was arrested and charged with the crime of “sexual abuse with carnal access”. The case is in charge of the Functional Unit of Instruction (UFI) of Gender Violence of Tigre, under the command of Mariela Miozzo, said Télam.
