Alberto Fernández on Russia-Ukraine: “We call not to use military force”

Following Russia’s attack on Ukraine, top world leaders today condemned the attack that left dozens dead and wounded. In this context, the President of the Nation, Alberto Fernández, published a statement on social networks.” I deeply regret the escalation of war that we know from the situation in Ukraine. Dialogue and respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, state security and human rights guarantee just and lasting solutions to conflicts,” he wrote on Twitter.

“We suffered many deaths caused by the pandemic. Humanity has suffered greatly. This creates a moral imperative for the parties to commit to the peaceful settlement of the dispute by acting with the utmost prudence and responsibility to ensure world peace,” he continued. He then wrote: “We call on all parties not to use military force.
