Filo Agenda: special “International Women’s Day”

A new International Women’s Day is approaching and in this note we bring you different proposals so that you can see how you can enjoy, transit, honor and honor a day that is lived to the surface. This year the motto chosen is “WE MOVE THE WORLD”, “Gender equality today, for a sustainable tomorrow”, and adding to that we bring you several options to “move” to the different points of the city that will accompany a new anniversary. The Ministry of Culture of the City presents activities to think about the present and future of women in arts and culture, with artistic proposals to be developed free of charge in the different spaces of the Ministry.Look at the agenda with activities that include, workshops, conversations, musical and theater sessions, film cycles, photographic exhibitions,  performance readings in tribute to historical women, fairs, meetings, guided tours with a gender focus and other proposals, which will be held throughout the month to exchange experiences, listen, learn and reflect taking advantage of the date. 17.30 h in the Alfredo Alcón hall of the Teatro Gral. San Martín.The conversation will have the participation of the panelists Lucía Merle, Eugenia Cerrutti and Gisela Volá. Moderator: Jazmín Tesone. Activity with free admission, does not require prior registration. Monday 7 Barrio San Nicolás Outstanding women in Argentine literature and history in the neighborhood of San Nicolás:
meeting point: Moreno 550 at 5 p.m. In this tour we will distinguish some of the protagonists who knew how to challenge the conventions and social conditioning of their time, coming from different social origins: Victoria Ocampo, Alfonsina Storni, Alejandra Pizarnik and Eva Duarte. 7 p.m. Free on a first-come, first-served basis. Capacity of the place: 30 people. The historical role of the

Through the eyes of these 5 filmmakers, it will be proposed to think about the role of the feminist movement today, the woman’s body as a battlefield, creation
artistic, motherhood, health systems, media, desires,
sexuality, love. At the end of the screening there will be a talk with the audience present and the

● Ob scena, by Paloma Orlandini Castro (17′) – Essay. Women’s Film Marathon at El Cultural San Martín: BA Audiovisual will screen 4
films and a short film by different female directors during the 8M at El Cultural
San Martín.Free admission until capacity is exhausted. With the aim of commemorating
this date giving female directors one more opportunity to have spaces of
exhibition as an alternative to the massive commercial circuit, and for the spectators of the
