CDMX will close all COVID macro-kiosks, in the face of a drop in infections

The Ministry of Health of Mexico City (Sedesa) reported that, given the decrease in COVID-19 infections and the demand for tests in the capital, the last six macrochiosques that provided services in the capital will be withdrawn.
Saturday, March 12, was the last day that the kiosks located in the Francisco de P. Miranda Gymnasium, in Álvaro Obregón, and the esplanade of the Venustiano Carranza mayor’s office applied tests.
The macrochiosques located on the esplanade of the Iztacalco mayor’s office and the Graphic Arts Park in Cuauhtémoc will close on March 19.
While the modules of the esplanades of Gustavo A. Madero and Xochimilco will continue to serve until March 26.

The population that requires a free screening test can go to any of the 117 health centers where they are applied, reported Health.
According to the latest report from Mexico City, in the capital there are 10,563 active cases, and until that Saturday there were one million 372,979 accumulated infections and 55,303 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
The positivity in COVID-19 tests applied in the capital is 10% in the last day, with one thousand 874 tests carried out.
