This weekend, a 36-year-old man was stabbed to death by his 16-year-old stepson at his home in the town of City Bell, according to police sources. The incident occurred on Saturday night, in a house located at 461 E and 13 C streets in that town of the La Plata party, where police officers attended after being alerted by a call to 911 According to the sources of the case, upon arriving at the place, the police found a 16-year-old teenager who confessed to killing his stepfather, of 36 and Bolivian nationality, who was dead in the bedroom. At the scene of the crime, the officers kidnapped a blade with which it is presumed that the homicide was committed. The boy is believed to have suffered from psychotic flare-ups and psychiatric problems, while the man subjected him to ill-treatment, the informants said based on testimonies from other relatives. The sources added that in recent days, the teenager “would have refused to continue with his medical treatment.” Personnel from the Departmental Directorate of Investigations (DDI) of La Plata intervened in the proceedings, who ordered the arrest of the teenager. At the moment, the young man is at the disposal of the prosecutor’s office on duty in the Criminal Jurisdiction of Juvenile Responsibility that initiated proceedings for “homicide”.
