Mr. Director,
Thursday, April 7, marked World Health Day. Since the beginning of the pandemic and a product of its long duration, health has taken center stage in the public discussion and in the way it affects all areas of people.
But this concept encompasses much more than care for the threat of a virus, and crosses our lives. In the workplace, health has a lot to do with the conditions in which work is carried out and the quality of life associated with it.
After two years of pandemic and uncertainty, health care has become an increasingly important element for the world of work, including of course mental health. According to our surveys, 30% of people want more mental health days to avoid burnout.
Additionally, the gradual aging of the population forces us to pay special attention to the prevention of occupational diseases, of silent development and that manifest themselves only over the years. Many companies today have the well-being of their human capital at the center, and if there are still organizations at the center, it is time to start acting now.
