The national president of Morena, Mario Delgado Carrillo, announced a campaign to showcase opposition deputies who voted against the electricity reform proposed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
He pointed out that the campaign contemplates that the Moreno deputies go to the six states where there will be elections to report on the legislators who rejected the reform so that the population takes it into account at the time of voting, on June 5.
“We want the people, the people to see the faces, the faces, the names of the traitors so that we never forget who turned our backs on the people, our children, our grandchildren… They are not anonymous, they have a face,” he said.
The states where there will be elections to change governorships are: Aguascalientes, Durango, Hidalgo, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo and Tamaulipas.
At a press conference, Citlalli Hernández, secretary general of Morena, explained that posters will also be disseminated with the name, surname, face and party of the legislators who “betrayed the homeland.”
In addition, that in public squares “walls of ignominy” will be placed and opposition deputies will be denounced in informative assemblies.

The plenary of the Chamber of Deputies rejected, yesterday, the president’s electricity reform initiative by obtaining 275 votes in favor and 223 against, which did not reach the qualified majority it needed.
The deputies of PAN, PRI, PRD and MC spoke out against the opinion, considering it a setback in electricity matters.
After president López Obrador sent the initiative of the Mining Law, whose main objective is to legislate on lithium, Morena announced that there will also be an information campaign on what it is and the law.
