Spring gives the spectacle of the arrival of these friendly waterfowl that although they lost their ability to fly do not lose their ability to amaze tourists; Magellanic Penguins are immensely efficient at sea but must get out of the water to lay eggs and raise their chicks in the early stages of their lives. It is then when we have the possibility to enter their habitat and observe them closely in the penguin colonies of the province. Within the Valdés Peninsula, hundreds of thousands of specimens are observed. They can be found at the viewpoint of Punta Cantor in Caleta Valdés, or enter the colony of Punta Norte through the “Estancia San Lorenzo”.
