It will be a 5 and a half hour show where millions of people will be able to observe it on several continents.” The coordinator of the astronomy area of the Planetarium of Buenos Aires Galileo Galilei, Mariano Ribas, told the press that it will be the first total eclipse of the Moon in Argentina since the one that occurred on January 21, 2019.The astronomical event will extend during the early morning of Monday, May 16, according to international time (UTC), until 5:55, although the moment of maximum magnitude will be at 4:11 AM. In Argentina, at 22:32 on Saturday, May 15, the gloom will begin, and at 23:28 the Moon will begin to be eclipsed. Already by 0:29 the next day, the eclipse will be total and the Moon will be dyed red. Meanwhile, the maximum magnitude will be recorded at 1:11 on Monday, while the end of the eclipse will be recorded around 3:50.
