A new shipment with a total of 1,681,500 doses of Covid-19 vaccine from the Moderna laboratory arrived this Friday afternoon at ezeiza International Airport. According to the Ministry of Health, with this arrival, Argentina exceeded the 121 million doses received since the beginning of the vaccination plan against SARS-CoV-2. Of the total number of vaccines received, 14,942,460 doses correspond to Moderna; 22,118,610 to Pfizer; 31,672,800 to Sinopharm; 29,643,700 to AstraZeneca; and 1,704,000 to CanSino.Meanwhile, 14,683,210 correspond to Sputnik V (10,490,055 doses of component 1, and 4,193,155 of component 2), and 6,296,125 to Sputnik V produced in Argentina by the Richmond laboratory (1,634,875 of the first component, and 4,661,250 of the second). According to data from the Public Vaccination Monitor, to date, Argentina has distributed 114,391,500 vaccines, of which 109,308,500 were sent to every country and 5,083,000 were donated to other nations. So far, 102,161,920 applications are totaled: 40,779,344 people started their vaccination schedule and 37,446,810 completed it, while 3,029,262 people received additional doses and 20,906,504 booster doses.
