“To bring water to your own mill”: Official party criticizes constitutional accusation against minister Izkia Siches

During the afternoon last Wednesday, the Republican Party entered the Constitutional accusation against the Minister of the Interior, Izkia Siches. In a conversation with Radio Biobío, Deputy Stephan Schubert, the party’s representative in the Araucanía region, indicated that the accusation is due to what the Secretary of State did and what the Secretary of State stopped doing, listing its causes.

“After a month to look for reasons to accuse the minister, who has not committed any breach of our Constitution, the Republican Party decides to file an accusation against the Ministry without even having the support of the other parties of the right,” he said.
“There are no reasons for this accusation, and what they are trying to do is take advantage of a delicate situation, to bring water to their own mill,” he added.

Once this accusation is entered, during the last week of June the draw will be held via tombola that will form the review commission of five members, who will analyze for 10 days the legal merits of the motion.
