Both leaders had a meeting where they discussed the war, the situation of Russia and also that of Ukraine. Following this line, Johnson offered Zelensky “to launch a large training program for Ukrainian forces, which could train up to 10,000 soldiers every 120 days.” For his part, Volodymyr agreed with the arrival of Boris and said: “Many days of this war have shown that the support of the United Kingdom to Ukraine is firm and determined. I am glad to see our country’s great friend Boris Johnson back in Kiev.” My visit today, which comes at the heart of this war, is to send a simple and clear message to the Ukrainians: The Uk is with you and we will remain so until you manage to impose yourself,” Boris said. He added: “Two months after my first visit, Ukrainian firmness, determination and resilience are stronger than ever. I know that unwavering determination will live on for much longer than President Putin’s vain ambitions.”
