Rafael Caro Quintero’s nicknames detected by the DEA

As with most drug traffickers, Mexican drug lord Rafael Caro Quintero had various “nicknames” or nicknames with which he was identified in the world of cartels. This Friday, July 15, 2022, the founder of the extinct Guadalajara Cartel was apprehended in the municipality of Choix, in the state of Sinaloa, by agents of the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar). Caro Quintero, originally from Badiraguato, Sinaloa, in addition to being known as “the narco of narcos”, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) managed to identify a list with more than 10 nicknames designated to the Sinaloan drug trafficker born in La Noria. Below are all the nicknames that the US agency managed to identify: Rafael Caro-Paez Rafael Caro-Quentaro Rafael Cago-Quintero Ravael Caro-Quentero Rafael Caro-Payan, Rafael Caro-Quentaro Raxael Caro-Quentero Pedro Santos-Escamilla R Uno #1 Rafa El Charral El Greñas Don Rafa Licenciado Rio Arrest of Caro Quintero Hours after he was apprehended, Rafael Caro Quintero was transferred in a helicopter of the Armed Forces to the airport of Los Mochis where he climbed to a military aircraft, although it is unknown, for security, where it will be taken. The founder of the Guadalajara Cartel, like Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, is accused by the DEA of the illegal deprivation of the life of Enrique Camarena, a former agent of the US agency. Therefore, in addition to crimes against health for his activities related to drug trafficking to the territory of the neighboring country to the north, Caro Quintero is also accused of the crimes of kidnapping, torture and homicide against Camarena, facts that date back to 1985.After the apprehension of Rafael Caro Quintero in Mexican lands, U.S. Attorney General Merrick B. Garland thanked Mexican government authorities for detaining the kingpin, while making it public knowledge that the Sinaloan’s immediate extradition will be sought. We recommend you read: “We will be seeking his immediate extradition to the United States so that he can be tried for these crimes in the same justice system that Special Agent Camarena died defending,” the US official said.
