The Cornelio Saavedra Museum reopened its doors

As of today, the Cornelio de Saavedra Historical Museum of Buenos Aires reopens its doors to the public. With a completely renovated museography and oriented to a children’s audience, the cultural house will have a sample of heritage pieces never before exhibited. The Museum is located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano, at 6309 Crisólogo Larralde Street and can be visited Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. General admission costs $ 100 pesos, however retirees, university students with accreditation and under 12 years old will have free admission. On Wednesdays the entrance will be free.

There will also be a temporary exhibition: “Buenos Aires in images: from the river to the city”. It is a set of pieces never before exhibited that belonged to Guillermo Moores. The museum dates from October 6, 1921 and was inaugurated thanks to a collection of objects and documents provided by the collector Ricardo Zemborain.
