Luz Raquel burned in Jalisco; died today and there are no detainees

Luz Raquel Padilla Gutiérrez, a 35-year-old woman, mother of a minor with autism and part of the Yo Cuido Mexico collective, was attacked and burned in the Arcos de Zapopan neighborhood, in the municipality of the same name, in Jalisco. 
The incident occurred on Saturday, July 16 around 8:20 p.m., a few blocks from his home, in a neighborhood park. On Tuesday, the collective and other civil organizations reported that Luz Raquel died today because of the injuries she suffered.

After being assaulted over the weekend, the young woman was taken to the Green Cross, but because she had burns on 90% of her body, she was transferred to the Fray Antonio Alcalde Civil Hospital. 
According to neighbors and witnesses, those who assaulted her were four men and a woman, and after the attack they fled. Preliminary information from the municipal police indicates that Luz Raquel was arguing with one of the men minutes before. 
The collective of which she was a part points out that Luz Raquel received constant death threats in her home against her and her son, due to intolerance for the noises that her autistic son made in his moments of crisis. 

Two months ago, on May 16, the young woman reported to the authorities that her assailant had thrown industrial chlorine at her, injuring her chest and left breast. Therefore, he requested to be part of the Pulse of Life mechanism, with which a device with geolocation is delivered that can be activated to request the arrival of police. However, she was refused to be integrated. 
Luz Raquel chose to make public the threats and aggressions she received, and also pointed to a neighbor as responsible.

“Until when I’m going to have to live in fear that something could happen to me and my family, my aggressor is still campy around the city with the danger of continuing to do harm,” he wrote recently. 
So far, neither the municipal police of Zapopan nor the Prosecutor’s Office of Jalisco have reported arrests for the facts. 
The collective Yo Cuido Mexico emphasized: “Luz Raquel is not the only mother and caregiver who has received threats associated with discrimination and ignorance that are manifested against people with disabilities.”
