The Minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency (Segpres), Giorgio Jackson, traveled surprisingly to the Bío Bío region to hold a meeting with workers and entrepreneurs from the municipality of Talcahuano.
According to Radio Bío Bío, this is a visit that was coordinated by the Presidential Delegation of Bío Bío that was not reported to the press.
At the meeting, Minister Jackson met with leaders of the CAP union within the framework of the campaign of the Government of President Gabriel Boric, “Chile Votes Informed” in the face of the exit plebiscite on September 4.
Around dusk, the Secretary of State arrived at the Directorate of Community Development (Dideco) of the Municipality of Talcahuano, in order to talk with local entrepreneurs about the Chile Apoya plan of the Executive.
The meeting was also attended by the mayor of Talcahuano, Henry Campos, the seremi of Economy, José Sepúlveda, the presidential delegate, Daniela Dresdner and the director of Corfo Bío Bío, Roberta Lama.
It is expected that during this next Friday, the head of the Segpres will hold other meetings in the commune of Chiguayante, as reported from the Ministry.
