The government of the province of Buenos Aires announced that people over 50 years of age who received the Sinopharm vaccine as the first two doses and those immunocompromised people over 12 years of age can now apply the fifth dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus. From the provincial authorities stressed that to receive the fifth vaccine it is necessary that four months have passed since the application of the last dose. Also, due to a 24% increase in cases for the third consecutive week, it was recommended that all people over the age of 18 maintain the complete vaccination schedule.
