AMLO meets with businessmen from Sinaloa and Mexico City

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is meeting privately tonight with businessmen from Sinaloa and Mexico City, with whom he is expected to discuss development works and projects.
For the meeting, tombolas were taken to the National Palace, as well as tamales to offer to guests.
During this meeting at the National Palace, one of the topics will be hydro-agricultural projects for Sinaloa, the governor of that entity, Rubén Rocha, who was also summoned, told reporters.

Some of these projects are two dams south of Sinaloa, whose purpose would be to boost the agricultural potential of the state, Rocha told the media before entering the enclosure.
According to the governor, one of the objectives of the day is to bring businessmen from his state closer to those of the country’s capital.

So far, businessmen Daniel Chávez, from Vidanta, and Carlos Bremer, from VALUE Grupo Financiero, have also arrived at the meeting. 
Likewise, Francisco Cervantes, president of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), arrived, who told reporters that next week the businessmen will meet again with the head of the Executive to talk about the new infrastructure package.
On the side of the officials, Javier May, head of the National Fund for the Promotion of Tourism (Fonatur), the body responsible for the construction of the Mayan Train, one of López Obrador’s main infrastructure projects, arrived.
