Mexico adds 20,000 recent CASES of COVID and 123 deaths in one day

The Ministry of Health detected 20,210 recent cases of COVID-19, for a cumulative of 6,803,190 infections, since the beginning of the epidemic.
However, it is estimated that there are 132,456 active cases, due to presenting signs and symptoms in the last 14 days.
In addition, 123 more deaths from COVID were confirmed, so there are 328 thousand deaths recognized by the authorities.

According to the daily technical report, there is an incidence rate of 96.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The entities with the highest incidence are Mexico City, Baja California Sur, Colima, San Luis Potosí, Tlaxcala, Coahuila, Aguascalientes, Querétaro, Sinaloa and Guanajuato.
Although the fifth wave of COVID infections has decreased in the last two weeks, the Ministry of Health reported that in the week of July 24 to 30 there was an average of 11,212 daily cases and 19 deaths.
