The Mississippi arrives in Buenos Aires

The Argentine band La Mississippi will perform on September 3 at the Arena Sur, located in the City of Buenos Aires, to review the greatest hits of their career and advance the new material that will be part of their next album. It is worth mentioning that the group led by Ricardo Tapia, is one of the oldest and most prestigious bands of Argentine rock, both musically and in convening power. He has played throughout the Argentine territory and in neighboring countries. Among his most remembered performances, we can highlight his show as a support band of John Mayall at the Gran Rex, his show with B.B. King at the Obras Stadium, the two editions of the Alligator Blues Festival with artists such as Koko Taylor, Tinsley Ellis and Kenny Neil, and his incredible participation as a guest band in the Eric Clapton concert in River Plate.La Mississippi was formed in 1988, but they began their discography in 1993 with “Mbugi”, which contains their great success “Café Madrid”. Since then, they have recorded 14 albums, 12 of them integrated with their own material and 2 with versions of rock and blues classics.
