Arroyo: “There will be less conflict when prices stabilize”

The deputy of the Frente de Todos and former Minister of Social Development, Daniel Arroyo, spoke about the decision of Unidad Piquetera to carry out a mobilization to Plaza de Mayo and then a camp. According to the legislator, there will be less conflict in the streets “to the extent that they manage to stabilize, above all, a set of food prices.” In that sense, Arroyo said that “when there are protests, more or less politicized, it is because something happens in the neighborhoods and today the money is not enough, it is difficult to make ends meet.” However, the former minister was confident with the incorporation of Sergio Massa to the National Cabinet. According to him, the new minister will be able to “stabilize and reorder” economic indicators, mainly in terms of inflation.

On the other hand, the pro-government legislator questioned the decision of the head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, to remove social plans from those families that do not meet the requirements of school attendance of their children. In this way, he considered that “beyond reviewing whether the consideration of the plan is met, it has to serve for new training and what is missing. What Larreta said is to throw away easy titles.”
