How to redeem Doom, Quake and The Elder Scrolls for free on PC

QuakeCon, Bethesda’s big annual event, has started, and the company is celebrating with gifts for PC users. Through various services and digital stores, you will be able to redeem games from the Doom, Quake and The Elder Scrolls series for a limited time. During the next week Epic Games is giving away Doom 64, the improved version of that version of Doom that came out on the Nintendo 64 console in 1997.Doom 64 is developed several after the original game and its sequel, Doom II, and puts us back in the skin of the marine who stopped the invasion of Earth to eliminate a new threat that was registered on Mars.

The new version includes technical improvements, support for keyboard and mouse or joystick, several extra levels that expand the story and is compatible with ultrawide screens. It can be redeemed in the Epic Games store until next Thursday. On the other hand, Microsoft, which bought Bethesda last year, added to the Game Pass service and the PC store several games of the company. Five classic games from iD Software and Bethesda Games are now available on Game Pass: Wolfenstein 3D (1992), Return to Castle Wolfenstein (2001), Quake 4 (2005), An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire (1997) and The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard (1998).

While you need to be subscribed to the service to access those titles, Microsoft is also giving away a selection of games in the store. The Elder Scrolls: Arena (1994), The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall (1996) and Quake Champions (2017) can already be downloaded directly from there, and Game Pass subscribers will receive a pack of skins and modifiers for Quake Champions.
