5-Year-Old Boy Killed in Sonora Had Signs of Sexual Abuse: Prosecutor’s Office

The Sonora Prosecutor’s Office reported that 5-year-old boy Ian Alejandro was sexually abused by his alleged killer, Martin N, known as “El Berru.”
State Attorney Claudia Indira Contreras said the signs of sexual abuse are because the boy was found without his clothes, but there was DNA from the assailant on the infant’s body.
At a press conference, he said that the arrest warrant against Martín “N” was executed and today the initial hearing is being held – before the control judge – for the crime of child homicide.

“The result of the autopsy revealed that Ian Alejandro died after hypovolemic shock, caused by stab wounds, also showing signs of sexual abuse,” he said.
The prosecutor indicated that according to the investigation that has been carried out, the alleged motive for the aggression was the intolerance of the “crying of the child”.
Contreras indicated that, according to the Criminal Code, the alleged aggressor can reach 30 to 70 years in prison for the crime of child homicide.

Ian Alejandro, the prosecutor commented, was not registered because of the alleged misplaced notice of birth.

In addition, the child’s mother is an inmate in a CERESO for the patrimonial crime, his father was murdered two years ago and his aunt is responsible for his custody and his partner is in prison for crimes against health.
He added that yesterday, a second arrest warrant was executed against Martín “N”, since a complaint was filed for the crime of sexual abuse of a 5-year-old girl.
Disappearance of the child Ian Alejandro
Ian Alejandro was reported missing in Hermosillo, Sonora, on August 28, after almost 24 hours of searching, he was found dead in a house in the Real del Carmen neighborhood.
The Sonora prosecutor’s office reported that the body of the minor was found buried in the property where the alleged aggressor lives, who maintained a friendly relationship with the family.
The agency reported that Martin N, known as “El Berru,” was detained.
