Bastille made the audience vibrate in his first show at Luna Park

The acclaimed British group Bastille gave last Wednesday its first show of its own in Argentina to present its new album “Give Me The Future + Dreams of The Past”, which is number one in the United Kingdom. In the historic Luna Park stadium, located in the City of Buenos Aires, those in charge of giving the green light were Lucas & The Woods interpreting the songs that made them the great proposal of the indie scene national. The band of Lucas Engel (vocals), Mateo Rodo (Guitars), Willo Sarmiento (Drums) and Andi Schneir (Bass) deployed their powerful pop-rock style leaving the stage with the best energy for what was to come.

Then it would be the turn of Bastille, before the ovation of those present and with a striking performance honoring that unique sound that characterizes them. After an introductory video full of strength and with a strong futuristic message living up to the title of the new material, the British band opened their show with the power of “Stay Awake” and the audience exploded. Surprises followed with “Distorted Light Beam” and “Things We Lost in The Fire,” creating the party atmosphere that would continue throughout the night. In a palpable connection with the audience, the British band displayed all their charm and made people participate in every minute of their show, getting off the stage to share the emotion up close.

Throughout the night you could enjoy the hits “Good Grief”; “Run Into Trouble”; “Happier” and “No Bad Days”, among others, creating an explosive cocktail of an hour and a half. The grand finale came from the hand of the great world event “Pompeii”, in a closing at the height of a magical show. With a decade of history, the band of Dan Smith (Vocals, keyboards), Kyle Simmons (Keyboards, backing vocals, bass), Will Farquarson (Bass, guitar, backing vocals) and Chris ‘Woody’ Wood (Backing vocals, drums) is one of the most convening groups of recent times and their shows are an emblem of innovation and conceptual creation that never ceases to amaze.
